Was met at the door by the only stylist working, apparently, and was told that her morning was completely booked up but if I was flexible maybe I could have an appointment for early afternoon. The level of common courtesy or professionalism was lacking, to say the least. I was made to feel as if any more business would be inconvenient, especially walk-ins. This was despite the fact that there was a big sign outside stating that walk-ins were welcome. Just not the way I prefer to be treated by a business who supposedly wants to earn clients and money, I won’t be giving them a second chance.

I still tip well but 20+ for a men’s haircut weight line by clippers and guard and a short trimmer that, altho it left no marks; bit me several times. Im over it. She was super friendly and a craftswoman-I like the results & so did my lady-time in and out was under 20 minutes. Her sister the evening before was also proactive. The door was locked as it was the last haircut of the day, she didn’t hesitate to get my attention, as I approached the glass door, and came immediately towards it to unlock it. She invited me in, asked what she could do for me, explained the hours & reason for the locked door, but offered to make an appointment 1st thing in the morning or another time. Perfect! She also explained if it wasn’t her it would be her sister who is as good if not better at cutting hair. She assured me she would explain this conversation to her. The sister in the morning knew and used my name. Good stuff! I’ll pay their price!

My stylist was extremely courteous and a joy to talk with. The place is adhering to all Covid-19 precautions, it’s clean and they are entertaining minimum guests to keep it safe for everyone. Most of all the haircut was really good and the prices are reasonable too! Would definitely return.

Barbers are friendly without being annoying, process are reasonable, haircuts are great. The one time out of maybe a dozen haircuts I realized I had an issue, they fixed it up wicked quick with no hassle.

My four year old son had his hair almost to his shoulders before coming in for a haircut. We had it cut into a shorter hairstyle and it turned out awesome. My son liked it so much that he didn’t miss his long hair. I definitely recommend coming to The Cutting Zone……plus it’s always good to support your local businesses!
