Positive: Cleanliness, Professionalism, Punctuality, Quality, ValueI was scheduled with the owner April. Perm was very affordable. I had a very amazing experience and April was so nice. My hair looks beautiful and I’m so happy. I Will definitely come back. Even my mom is going to get a perm from April. Shes that good. Me and my mom went to volume the salon originally. They treated my mom terrible. Trashed her hair and wanted to charge 175$ . I found the cutting edge on google, called and got in very quickly. So happy I did. I would definitely encourage anyone that is looking for a good quality salon with great deals and service in urbana ohio to come here. April did a great job on my hair and her daughter, who’s name I can’t remember, did great with my son! It’s $18 for a haircut, not too bad. Great clips is $16.

Horrible experience. Made an appointment here with stylist Amy. She was 45 minutes late coming in to the salon for our appt. Wish I had left instead of listening to the receptionist who kept saying Amy was already on her way and would be there very soon. Started appt and upped the prices on me and said they gave me the wrong prices when I called in. She treated me like an idiot and argued with me that there was henna dye in my hair when I know 100% I have never had henna in my hair. She clamined this was why she did not have the time to do my hair the way I specified when I initially scheduled my appt. (I guess being 45 minutes late getting into the salon had nothing to do with it?) Hair did not turn out how I wanted in the end. What a surprise. Gossiped about boss, bosses daughter, and co workers. Would not recommend at all. Waste of $150. Could have gone elsewhere and would have been treated more professionally and had a more enjoyable experience for that price.

Recommended this place to my boyfriend who frequently gets his hair done at Great Clips. The stylist was a couple minutes late but things happen! Then, he showed her an image of a high fade he wanted and she took a glance at it. About 10 minutes into the haircut he was noticeably unhappy, trying to redirect her to the image. She gave it a second look and explained that she thought it was a pompador instead of a high fade. The end result embarassed him, enough so he had to hide it under a hat. Soon enough we just buzzed it. Won’t be returning!
