I called to see if anyone there would cut my two year old sons mullet into a better shape. A big request, I know. Christian stepped up and said he would try. On last Saturday I was visiting Merced, CA with my wife from San Francisco and accidentally noticed this barber shop at 1722 Canal St.. While the weather was hot (100 F) and impossible to walk on the streets I decided to have a haircut and meanwhile cool down in a air-conditioned place. Despite I didn’t have an appointment one of the guys (Chris) has agreed to cut my hair which he did excellent. I can’t talk about ladies but during my presence in the shop there were 3-4 more guys and they got a nice haircuts too. These young guys are skilled professionals. Well deserved 5 stars from me.

Love the atmosphere there, it’s very welcoming. The barbers/stylists are very knowledgable and know how to cut hair. It’s more of a place for a man to cut his hair, but women are also welcomed. The barbers take their time and do a very good job. I have been there three times already and they always exceed my expectations. The price for a hair cut is a little higher than your every day dime in a dozen hair cut business. In return you are paying for quality and good hospitality and extras that you wouldn’t get at another business. For example, the barbers wet shave your neck, when in your every day hair cut business that wouldn’t. Little stuff like that is what makes customers keep coming back.
