From the moment I looked up this place and walked through the door I knew I made the right decision. I was in town for a wedding and needed a haircut on short notice. Kenny (the owner) without hesitation was able to fit me into his schedule and bless me with a clean cut right on the spot. Do yourself a favor & hit up The Cut Block in Wood-Ridge if you’re ever in Jersey. The barbers are detail-oriented, & professional. The shop is very clean. I highly recommend their services because you’re in great hands.

What a gem! I got my hair cut here and probably the best I’ve ever gotten. Didn’t know what to expect. In the past I usually tell the barber to fade it, and they say, “yup, got it”, and it just falls short. I learned the definition of fade at The Cut Block. It was just perfect. They spend that time and they pay attention to detail. They just made me look good. Like GOOD. It’s a bit pricey, but you know where it goes. Nice to see people really take pride in their craft. I’ll definitely be back.

Lemme preface with the fact that I had long hair for years and had not gotten anything done to it besides minor trims, and was nervous about cutting it all off after years. Fear not though because Kenny gave me by far the best haircut I’ve ever had. I’ve gotten compliments about just how good it is by friends and family, saying how much better it fits me than any other style I’ve had in the past. I showed Kenny a picture of what I roughly had in mind and Kenny did the rest beautifully and knew exactly what I needed when I didn’t. The environment is top notch too, a nice bonus on top of a guaranteed great haircut. I will most certainly be coming to The Cut Block exclusively from now on.

Kenny was awesome I needed a fade it was Friday night about 10pm and saw the shop open. Walked in as he was wrapping it up for the night but he took care of me even though I was a first time customer not a regular. Gave me a tight fade made me look crispy clean for the an event I had early the next morning. He was very welcoming and entertaining even after being in his shop for over 15 hours. I highly recommend The Cut Block! I will definitely be going back for my next fade.
