Never once cut it and was nervous about trusting a (then) complete stranger. Every step of the process was explained to me in detail and I was given great tips and tricks. Will be trusting Emilie with my future cuts and styles from now on!Also, prices are amazingly reasonable. Ever since then, I haven’t seen anyone else, and I wouldn’t trust anyone else with my hair. Short story is that I highly recommend seeing her.Long story is that Emilie has bleached my hair platinum (shown below) but was so skilled that she kept it looking and feeling silky smooth and healthy. Since then, we’ve experimented with color for years! We went platinum, to honey blonde, to auburn, to fiery red (seen below) to vibrant coral, all while keeping it looking great and healthy. She gave me tips and tricks to make the color last better and to keep my hair as healthy as possible, despite being heavily processed. And she’s not just great with color, but with cuts too! She has a really artistic eye and is up to date with current fashions as well as classic ones. As a typical millennial, I’ve always parted my hair on the side, despite that not being the fashion. One time, after telling her that I wanted a change of pace, she suggested that I start parting my hair in the middle and she’d cut it to look 70s-esq with curtain bangs. I was very hesitant, but I trusted her and I’m really glad I did! In the over three years that I’ve seen Emilie, I’ve only ever been pleased with the results of her doing my hair.Emilie also is such a pleasure to be around. She’s very personable, funny, and compassionate. She makes me feel amazing when I leave, even if I had a super rough week.The space itself is new and super SUPER cute! It’s such a fun salon! It’s very clean and tidy. Especially with the pandemic, I pay close attention to cleanliness.
