I started getting my haircut there with Abby in 2018 and have loved every visit. Abby does a fantastic job of listening to what I’d like done with my hair, helping my decide what would work best for my hair goals and recommending products she’s feels will work with my hair type. Since 2018 I’ve gotten several haircuts, highlights for my wedding and my day of wedding styling for myself and my bridesmaids (which turned out beautifully!!) I have been going to The Color Bowl for a couple of years now and love it! I started getting my haircut there with Abby in 2018 and have loved every visit. Abby does a fantastic job of listening to what I’d like done with my hair, helping my decide what would work best for my hair goals and recommending products she’s feels will work with my hair type. Critical: ProfessionalismI just got canceled because I am a woman with short hair and booked a men’s cut. It doesn’t take an hour to cut and type my hair no matter how long you try. Cathy said she would have noticed I was a woman when I walked in and canceled me. I had emailed her prior letting her know I was a woman with short hair. She texted me 3 hours before my cut and said she canceled me because I’m a woman and she needed an hour. Why are cut descriptions “men” and “women”? Why not “short” and “long”? Would a man get charged a woman’s price if he came in with long hair and wanted it styled?This place needs to get with the times. At least Cathy does. It’s 2021. a woman inside of the salon ran out and screamed at me because i took a few photos outside of the building. i kindly said sorry and that i would leave but she yelled more and told me it was private property and that i had to get out. she was screaming but there was no sign that said private property and i said i was sorry and was going to leave immediately. it was very rude and unprofessional. i would not recommend entering that hostile environment.
