This is Guyandotte’s best kept secret!! The Colour Bar looks like a high end salon plucked right out of Nashville or Atlanta, or Dallas, TX or something. Except Angie (the owner) comes up & talks to you like family & the prices are super affordable. Hairdressers are incredibly friendly & super talented. Go get your hair done here!!

I went here to have my roots touch up…I came out with partly orange and yellow hair and it was burnt, bad. I was offered 5 “treatments,” aka olaplex in the salon. I said no I wouldn’t be stepping foot back in. I wasn’t offered a refund which I need because this…this hair….needs 100$ worth of blue AND purple shampoo and a gallon of olaplex to sleep in…..and probably 5 years of hair recovery….the girl kept saying “trust me, just trust me, it’s okay.” Well when she did a shampoo/bleach rinse, bleach was left on the ends of my hair, needless to say, damaged. I couldn’t run my fingers through my hair the ne t day or after the next wash. When someone says just trust me…dont..if you’re hair is platinum, don’t go somewhere that the beautician says, “oh trust me I got this,” as I stared at her short thin brown hair. I want a refund and the tip that was undeserved. I paid for damage.
