My mom and I have been searching for a place that can accommodate curly haired women such as our selves. We were recommend by the manager, Bobbi! I came in for a blowout and was extremely happy at how wonderful the staff were. My mom on the other hand was over the moon! She was helped by Katie who spoke with her for half an hour and made her feel so comfortable and welcome. She explained the entire process to her and asked her so many questions about EXACTLY what my mom wanted. Katie is so professional and talented. It is so hard to feel that way in most places when you have very curly hair and never seem to have *the experience*. My mom came back looking 20 years younger, she was absolutely glowing and she almost cried after years of terrible hair salon horror stories. Her hair was perfectly cut with so much volume and bounce to her shiny curls! The color was immaculate and looked so natural!!! I also have to say, Bobbi is truly the kindest and most caring manager I have ever come across. The chop shop is the place to go for curly girls !!!!!!!!! THANK YOU SO MUCH CHOP SHOP!!!!!!!!

I was recommended this place for my 4 year old son. The “Hair dresser” assigned to my son was rude, nasty and informing everything she couldn’t do for my son if he moved the slightest bit. She didn’t say nice to meet you or good night. This is NOT a place for children even though they have no problem taking your money. It is also extremely overpriced for a bad haircut. The hair dresser missed many spots and didn’t care too fix anything or accommodate us. She went into the back without saying anything like hearing a child cry was foreign. I will NEVER return to this place of “business” under no circumstance. Its a overpriced women’s salon

She walked me through the entire process and engaged with my daughter so beautifully. We had an amazing experience with her beginning to end. The entire staff was social and made the space seem like a big family.
