Positive: Professionalism, ValueI’ve been to Butcher’s Barber Shop a handful of times in the last few months. I work nearby, so I’ve always just walked in (no appointment required, and even when I wait it’s not long). Because I walk in, each time a different guy has cut my hair (I’m super bad with names, wish I could remember who it was each time). Each time I left with a great cut! Prices are super affordable, and the atmosphere is super chill and casual. I always feel comfortable going in.Now, at the risk of getting too personal: As a non-binary and visibly gender non-conforming person, I CANNOT describe how great it is to walk into a barber shop and request a men’s haircut, and have NO ONE bat an eye. I feel completely comfortable there, and it might sound like a low bar, but I’ve gotten absolutely zero judgement or even so much as a weird look from anyone in the place. This most recent time, my barber even used my correct pronouns (they/them)! I’ve been to Butcher’s Barber Shop a handful of times in the last few months. I work nearby, so I’ve always just walked in (no appointment required, and even when I wait it’s not long). Because I walk in, each time a different guy has cut my hair (I’m super bad with names, wish I could remember who it was each time). Each time I left with a great cut! Prices are super affordable, and the atmosphere is super chill and casual. I always feel comfortable going in.

I went to Butchers Barbershop late in the day for a shave(my first shave ever at a barbershop)…Chris was my barber…he informed me that they had run out of hot towels and if it was still ok to continue…I said yes since I had an event to go to the next morning and i was already there…he started off with the straight razor which i thought the rest of the shave was going to be but then he started using the electric razor…after it was done and over with I got home and felt and saw stubble on my upper lip and lower lip and chin…there were long hairs left on my neck and my side burns were not trimmed and evened out…overall disappointed in the service i received.

So its the first time I come here. I didnt get the guys name that did my sons hair but he did a great job. They take their time with the customers,which is good.I had to wait a little but that was on me. I didn’t make an appointment but they take walk-ins. So I will definitely be coming back here. Oh and they have water and other drinks for their customers which is pretty nice. And its only 5 minutes maybe less from where I stay so a plus lol. The place itself is clean and has great atmosphere.
