A true professional, Jenee helped me find the parking lot since it was my first time and stayed on the line until I was settled. We instantly hit it off and she began her service. Her hand was so gentle and I have a moderate pain tolerance. It was over before I knew it. Her studios was clean and cozy. She asked how I like my brows to be shaped which seems small, but I can’t remember the ladies at the mall kiosks ever asking me that. She got me in and out in less than 15 minutes.

Janée was late…. I paid for a wax & tinting neither was good. I later learned from another Aesthetician that because I have thin brows Henna would be a better option. I wish she would have suggested that instead of me wasting money. Lastly I did wait overnight before cleaning my skin…. It was like I used eyebrow pencil. I would not recommend this facility.

After a very disappointing experience with a salon in the Grosse Pointe area (where I live), I searched for a place where diversity was apart of the business model, & I found The Brow Bottega. After my first appointment with Janee, I knew I’d found my new home for all my eyebrow needs. Janee is truly fantastic at what she does. Her energy is excellent, she is kind, affirming, & empathetic. She maintains a positive, calming atmosphere in her shop, & she enforces covid safety rules. Due to a recent health issue & major surgery, my eyebrows had begun to thin out & basically disappear. I didn’t know to do, so I reached out to Janee, & she not only responded to me, but her expert advice helped me to get my eyebrows back to a much fuller state. & Janee was able to get them back the way I like, which made me feel better about looking in the mirror. I will never go anywhere else for my eyebrows. Janee is truly the best & I HIGHLY recommend her. Her shop is truly a safe space for people in the LGBTQ community!
