This is hands down the best barber shop around. Obviously it’s best to have a appointment because their talent is in high supply, but they make it very easy to make a appointment. Matter of fact it’s so easy that I do it myself without the help of my wife. I met the owners last visit and they seemed like wonderful people. In my opinion Master barber Felicia is one of the best in her field.

Brought my two and a half year old in for a “lads cut.” Walked in the door and was met by a stylist who did not look happy to see us. It was obvious from the moment we walked in she wasn’t enthusiastic about doing a child’s hair and to be honest I can appreciate that it’s more a challenge than cutting an adults hair. That being said, if she had nicely said that she wasn’t up for it, I would have understood. Instead she kept huffing and puffing and acting annoyed with both my child and myself. It was uncomfortable all around.

So glad The Brass Beard opened in Landrum last week. We really need a place like this in the area. I got my first haircut here this weekend. They did a great remodel job on the space. The staff is friendly. Julia did an excellent job cutting my hair. I will gladly recommend The Brass Beard to my friends and I look forward to a return visit.
