Best salon in STL! The entire staff at Boulevard are welcoming, professional, kind, and extremely talented. Liz installed my sew in hair extensions and it was a complete transformation! I wouldn’t have gone to anyone else, she’s truly a master! My boyfriend also gets his hair done here and we will never go anywhere else. 100% go to the boulevard to feel beautiful and pampered!

Scheduled an appointment with Nicole W. to have my hair cut to embrace my grey hair instead of continuing to color it. At the “consultation” she assured me that she knew how to cut natural (curly) African American hair. She said that she did and could handle what I wanted: tapered back with cut to minimize thinning hair at the crown. After a shampoo and condition, she started cutting. After she finished I left thinking it looked okay. After getting home I realized that she had never given me a mirror to look at the back of my head. See the pictures below. The first is my hair before being cut, the second is the back of my head after the cut and the third is the fixed that I had to retain another salon to fix my hair cut after my Boulevard experience.

I was very happy with my recent haircut with Lauren L! I asked for a balayage that would look normal growing out on brunette hair and not need much upkeep, and I got my hair cut shorter. Lauren was great and helped my vision for my hair come to life. I would give 5 stars but was just surprised by an additional $50 charge on my receipt for the service, as the starting balayage was already $194. The pricing of this studio makes me think I’d come here only on occasion. However, I was very happy overall!

Michael did an excellent job with my naturally curly hair, actually cutting it properly (no wet hair spray down!) and doing a great job of getting the color (a rather involved oil slick fantasy job) just perfect. I scheduled with Mari Valenti. I was brunette before and wanted to go back to blonde. I was scared to use bleach because of past experiences but considering Mari’s past reviews I told her I trusted her opinion. She consistently checked my hair under the foils and washed sections throughout the appointment. She did bleach in the foils on half my hair, balayage on the rest and a root melt. My hair feels so soft and I absolutely love how our first session turned out. Mari knows her worth, as she should. If you are looking for a blonde specialist I highly recommend Mari. Thank you for helping my hair, I love it!

I went to Boulevard because my beautician was out on maternity leave at a different salon. Michael was recommended to me by a friend who also has a short haircut (pixie style cut). He did an amazing job!! Very happy with the results!! Michael explained the process of cutting and styling my hair and the products he used to where I felt confident doing it myself at home. 11/10 highly recommended!!

This is one of rare instances where I need to leave a detailed review to share the incredible experience I had at The Boulevard! I have had such horrible experiences at hair salons because I have always felt rushed or not heard. However, the moment I stepped into the Boulevard this week, my hair stylist Mari Valenti greeted me with the biggest smile even though it was late in the work day! Then she took the time to hear out what I envisioned for my hair and gave me advice but was very opened minded with my choices. She was so patient and kind and honest. I cut off a lot of my very long hair and she made the process so exciting and fun. Then she went in to do my balayage and she really took the time to explain how she was coloring my hair and why and then checked to make sure I was fine the with process at every step. I felt like a new person by the end and I felt like she genuinely cared that I fall in love with my hair and feel confident. After a decade I found my forever place, the hair stylist I always want to come to, and a friend. Not to mention, the atmosphere at the Boulevard is so beautiful, modern, and relaxing and they are so welcoming and inclusive on top of that. Thank you guys for such a pleasant experience. I cannot wait to come back! I HIGHLY HIGHLY HIGHLY recommend coming here!

I had an appointment yesterday with Chelsie and I could not be happier! The salon is gorgeous and spacious and I was immediately greeted by someone when I walked in. Chelsie took time to talk to me about what I was hoping to achieve, my past services and how I typically style my hair. She was friendly, funny and super knowledgeable. I honestly felt like I had been going to her for years, even though this was my first appointment. Before doing anything to my hair she talked to me about the price to ensure we were on the same page which I appreciate. My hair cut and color exceeded my expectations and I am so thrilled with it. I prebooked my next appointment and highly recommend this salon, as well as Chelsie!

Susan did such an amazing job on my hair! I am very picky with my hair and appreciate when hair stylist actually LISTEN and deliver results that absolutely exceed my expectations -Susan did that! I wanted a slight trim and face framing layers and she in fact did not cut off an extra 4 inches off like most hair stylist tend to do. My cut looks blended and seamless, she’s the best 10/10 recommend
