I reached out to The Boiler Room before my wedding to see if they’d be able to cut 7 guys hair. George and Dakota not only closed down the shop for us for the morning but they made a huge effort making us feel welcome and comfortable for the whole day. Dakota is a very talented barber and very easy to get along with, he’s a great guy. Bottom line – this is the place to go for a great haircut in a cool shop full of wonderful people. I reached out to The Boiler Room before my wedding to see if they’d be able to cut 7 guys hair. George and Dakota not only closed down the shop for us for the morning but they made a huge effort making us feel welcome and comfortable for the whole day. He did an excellent job with my haircut and beard trim. Great barber and an overall pretty cool guy. The shop’s atmosphere is laid back and inviting. Highly recommended! After more than a year (due to the pandemic) without a haircut, I decided it was time to make an appointment with Nik at The Boiler Room Cut and Shave. He did an excellent job with my haircut and beard trim. Great barber and an overall pretty cool guy. The shop’s atmosphere is laid back and inviting. Highly recommended! Well worth the hour drive from the Albany area.

Critical: Professionalism, ValueMy boyfriend recommended me go here because one of the barbers did a nice job cutting his hair. Well I for one did not have a good experience. It was horrible. I had short curly hair and wanted a low fade with a trim on top. However, they butchered the fade and cut the top way too short. The guy obviously did not know what he was doing since he asked help from two other barbers, whom are great at there job. This did nothing because the end result was choppy. I left without complaining and only until I got back into my car did I notice how bad it was. I had a long piece in the back, the fade had noticeable lines. So I went back inside and asked them to please fix the mess this guy did to my hair. They put me back with the same guy and he only cut off the long piece of hair in the back. None of the more experienced barbers, including the owner of the shop helped fix my hair. So now I have to go to another barber shop. I recommend The Boiler Room in Downtown Saratoga. My boyfriend recommended me go here because one of the barbers did a nice job cutting his hair. Well I for one did not have a good experience. It was horrible. I had short curly hair and wanted a low fade with a trim on top. However, they butchered the fade and cut the top way too short.
