I met Michael at 6 AM on a very crisp, 30*F Monday morning and he was ready to hit the ground running! His space is very stylish, clean, well-kept, and has the nicest, most luxurious lighting. I had gone in to get a blow out for a photoshoot I was doing at work later that day. He took time to sit down with me and discuss what hair products I was currently using, how often, why I was seeing him, where the photos would be taken and when, all sorts of identifying questions that made me feel personally seen. Over the course of the hour, we had a wonderful conversation about his history, my history, our love for hair, and marketing in the industry. I had such a wonderful time and my hair looks amazing! As a curly girl, it makes me feel good to know I’m in good hands with someone who properly treats curly hair when it comes to hydration and styling with heat.
