The Blowdry Cafe

Critical: QualityMy hair typically curls but falls easily, so I went to the cafe prior to having engagement pictures taken in hopes that a professional would be able to increase the longevity of the curls. I’m disappointed to say that my hair fell before I even got home and did not make it to the photo shoot which I scheduled just 2 hours after the start of the service, and believe I would have had much better results and more money in my pocket had I just done my own hair. The makeup job was good but the stylist doing this was unable to find the products she needed as all of the product was in different places from a previous wedding and seemed fairly haphazard through the visit. She also suggested I use my own home mascara because many clients didn’t like the look or feel of the mascara/one use brushes that they used, which for me seemed strange. My hair typically curls but falls easily, so I went to the cafe prior to having engagement pictures taken in hopes that a professional would be able to increase the longevity of the curls. I’m disappointed to say that my hair fell before I even got home and did not make it to the photo shoot which I scheduled just 2 hours after the start of the service, and believe I would have had much better results and more money in my pocket had I just done my own hair. I went in to get a blowout/wax. I showed what I wanted from a picture on THEIR wall. My hair didn’t look like the picture and fell into a tangled mess within 30 minutes.
