I called this salon for the original owner, Michael. Unbeknownst to me he’d sold it long ago. When Alexis the new owner told me this she offered to see me but I dismissed her thinking I’d go looking for Michael. I began thinking almost immediately after that, Alexis sounded so friendly and kind and wondered if I really wanted to try and hunt down a stylist who didn’t bother telling me he was leaving so I called her back and explained the situation. Again she was so friendly and not once made me feel she was too busy to hear me. I had a special request, which I won’t say as I wouldn’t want others to try and ask the same and take advantage. I feel Alexis is so kind hearted she wouldn’t turn anyone away even if it meant an inconvenience on her. But she gladly made the exception for me. I was nervous because I was coming to her with a hairstyle very different for me. She put me at amazing ease and I truly felt I could trust her to do what I was asking and walkout without any regret. I walked out with zero regret. I can’t say “I LOVE IT” ON ME, even tho it’s cute and sassy and exactly what I requested, but I’ll grow to love it. I NEVER walkout of any hair salon loving it, it’s me. Alexis did an awesome job. I hope to have Alexis as my stylist for many, many years. I cut my hair super short. Now what I’m looking forward to is growing it out to a good length and allowing Alexis to do whatever she feels fits me best. Please remember to tip generously. I know traditionally we aren’t supposed to tip the owner of any establishment but this is a small shop and she’s a young mother. You see where I’m going. I hope this doesn’t offend her if she ever comes across this review, not my intention. It’s just I truly respect kindness.

I just left the salon, and all I have to say is OMG I’m in love with my hair… Alexis the owner did my hair today and its not the first time. I went to her at a different salon before and she is amazing. She is the owner of the Bloom Room salon she is very nice and loves to take care of her clients. She truly cares about her clients and listens. Love her personality and will always go back to her.

Alexis is an amazing stylist. Moving to a new town I needed someone I could trust with my hair. When I found out she bought her own place I knew I was driving wherever she was moving to.
