Critical: Professionalism, Quality, ValueI was scheduled to have a cut and color session with McKenzie, who charged me almost 200 for highlights and a cut that looks like she did it with her feet. This girl was three weeks out of beauty school which should’ve been a red flag. She took four hours to mess up my hair. I asked for all over blonde, which she said she could do, and she gave me chunky jwow highlights even after me telling her multiple times that I did not want highlights. The cut was lopsided, and she told me that she or any of the other stylists could not layer hair- isn’t that required to graduate anyway? She waited until after taking out the foils that I wouldn’t be able to achieve what I asked for in a day, and I would have to come back. When I said something, they told me that THEY thought it looked ‘great’ and everyone did highlights different, and I would have to pay for another session or throw some toner on it and call it a day. After contacting the owner, they finally agreed to give me my money back. I took that money and got it fixed by Destini at southern roots hair salon in Livingston al. She did a wonderful job of fixing the botched job- and she did it in one session. I was scheduled to have a cut and color session with McKenzie, who charged me almost 200 for highlights and a cut that looks like she did it with her feet. This girl was three weeks out of beauty school which should’ve been a red flag. She took four hours to mess up my hair. Hannah did my hair and it was absolute perfection. I have a ton of pin straight hair and it held ALL day in the humidity. Not only did they do an amazing job– they were so much fun to work with. Blo Dry Bar did my hair & my wedding parties hair for my wedding in June. They were AMAZING!! Hannah did my hair and it was absolute perfection. I have a ton of pin straight hair and it held ALL day in the humidity. Not only did they do an amazing job– they were so much fun to work with. I have used Blo Dry bar multiple times in Oxford for blow outs and have been more than pleased every single time.
