I come here from time to time & honestly it’s one of the best affordable places in Costa Mesa. The staff is super sweet and communicative! The ladies here know how to do designs very well & will always double check with you to see if you like it. I would highly recommend coming here to get your nails done. Ask for Stacy or Amy! aggressive for no reason. Salons are meant to be peaceful and relaxing. When I went this past saturday i booked an appt with mary who was known for her designs, i wanted a simple butterfly on two fingers and she denied me pleading she didn’t do designs, when her coworkers and reviews below all stated she does all these designs. Either she judged me or she was being lazy, don’t take appointments if you’re not up to working. Had to come up with different colors since they were out of half of their collection. I was passed to Cindy who I asked for long nails and ended up with short, blotchy, crooked nails. I thought to myself you know what maybe they had a tough day. $60 and 3 days later 4 of my acrylic nails have popped off like cheap press ons. not even rip or break in half they literally popped off like press ons from dollar tree. Went to a new salon today and they were horrified at the quality and shabiness of whatever was left on my nails. Go spend your hard earned money elsewhere!

Ok so its not bougie… what this place lacks in aesthetics, absolutely positively makes it up in courteous friendly service and wonderful impeccable nail skills!! I went with a good friend who I would absolutely say is a nail connoisseur she gets her nails done every two weeks and she’s been just about every nail place and she was thoroughly thoroughly impressed! She said it’s one of her best pedicure she’s ever had and I absolutely agree!

I found this nail salon on a quick Yelp search while in the area and I stumbled upon a gem! Stacey did my gel X and I felt very comfortable with her, she is so sweet! My old gel x nails were in need of some major help (broken, peeling, lifted, totally destroyed, they looked terrible lol) and she did her magic and I could not be happier. I took my first visit back to Best Nail Salon since the pandemic. Kathy did my mani and Mary my pedi. Sooo, nice and attentive. I received the exact nail shape I wanted. (Squoval, since I have naturally nice nails) and no harassment to go with services I had no interest in. I was asked, I politely declined and that was it. So professional. I’ll definitely be back.
