I went in to get a perm, the stylist, Sara, was very informative and helped me make good hair choices by testing my hair before getting the perm. We learned that my hair would have been badly damaged if we went for the perm. I decided not to do it. (Thank goodness) I asked her to match my roots! I had 3 different shades of color in my hair. My dark brown roots, my left over pink, a lighter brown on the bottom half. It was a mess. Sara did so great color matching my hair. She also treated it to bring it back to life. I had another stylist help do my hair and styled it afterwards, which looked so pretty!! Thank you, Alison! I don’t normally go with a natural color, but I am so glad I went to The Beau Monde to get it done. Highly recommend.

Had interns mixing bleach without using a scale, burned my scalp so bad it has been seeping for days now, fried my hair. Then tried to blame me even though I had virgin hair where everything happened. Owner pushed for me to buy products to fix their mistake along with making me pay full price for the appointment . Then when I told my mom and showed her what happened, she called to see if I could get a partial refund since I now have to do so many extra things for their mistake and the owner belittled my mom, talking down to her, and just refused trying to keep blaming me even though I use city water and had virgin hair. I would not recommend this place just because of how to owner decided to handle to situation. Not only all of that they definitely abused the fact that it was my first professional experience and really didn’t know much. My Stylist was nice though. Owner needs to learn how to run a business and not let interns be mixing bleach.
