Where do I begin? I am not from Lake Placid so I had a lot of research to do in order to find a hairstylist for my wedding. I am so thrilled my sister found Sarah. Not only was my whole bridal party happy with their hair, Sarah was the most down the earth person. She had great conversations and was so quick!! I highly recommend sarah for any event you need, she did my hair for my wedding and really set the day off right! She made quick work of my hair and I ended up with a beautiful bow on my head! I couldn’t be more happy with how Sarah styled my hair on my wedding day and took care of my bridesmaids and the mothers of the bride and groom! She sculpted beautiful updos and was very friendly and flexible. Sarah is a local and knowledgeable about the area, which is great for out-of-towners getting married in the area who want to know more about where to go and what to do.

I called The Beauty Loj to make appointments to get pedicures and manicures for me and three of my friends. When we arrived the woman working said that two of us could get started and the others would need to wait. We were okay with this as we had anticipated that only two of us would be able to go at a time. What I did not anticipate was having to wait for two men to get their haircut while my feet were soaking for my pedicure. The woman started my pedicure but stopped twice to do two mens’ haircuts. Other women also came in and were seen before my friends. I am not sure if these other people had appointments or not but I was frustrated because we had called ahead to confirm our appointment.

The Beauty Loj hosted my entire wedding party (15 girls plus 2 moms) to get our nails done the day before my wedding in Lake Placid. They had 4 girls on staff who were all beyond great! We all got gel mani and pedi each and everyone’s came out wonderful!!! They closed down the salon for us so we had he place to ourselves where we enjoyed snacks and spritzers! It was so clean and you would have thought the staff was part of our wedding party we all chatted the entire time like wev all known each other for years! It was truly like a mini party before the party – so much fun!!! Would go back in a heart beat!
