Critical: Cleanliness, Professionalism, QualityI had seen recommendations for this place in a local FB group as being good with cutting curly hair. I went in with my hair styled curly. The stylist did not ask me how I wanted my hair styled, just cut it and blew it dry straight. The brush she used was not clean, I could see long blonde hairs in it before she even touched my hair (my hair is dark brown). She didn’t straighten it or use a curling iron or anything, just blew it dry. The whole experience took 19 minutes. 19 minutes!! And yes, I feel like she purposefully rushed through it, even though I was literally the only customer in the shop. I am very disappointed as I rarely do self-care things like this for myself. It seemed she couldn’t wait to get me out of there-and I talked minimally.
