So. My hair experience was absolutely AMAZING and I readily scheduled my next appointment with Emily. My eyelash extension did not go as well. $300 later, I thanked the tech and left. I knew I hated my lashes. But I honestly think we just had DRASTICALLY different visions for my lash profile. My lashes felt awful. They are good but make sure you check (was not allowed to say not T)

Customer Service was transactional at best. I went for a brow wax & tint and the brow wax wasn’t any better than what I could do at home as there was no plucking / shaping, just waxed bare minimum. The tint lasted 2 days. $40 is a lot of $$ for no actual shaping or trimming of the brow, a tint that doesn’t last and a transactional experience. I don’t think the aesthetician used my name or asked me one question about myself. Not going back for this service, unfortunately even though it’s location is convenient.

I love The Beauty Bar! I’ve been going for almost a year rather consistently. I started by getting facials with Kaylee and she is the most insightful, patient, kind, and knowledgeable aesthetician I’ve had. I was always relying on secondhand information via the internet and could never get my skincare routine right. Kaylee helped me establish a routine that works (that’s always within my budget!) and we created treatment plans together. The spa services have always been great!

Was told my 4 year olds pedicure would be $44 so I cancelled said appointment and was charged a No show fee of 50% even though I cancelled the appointment ahead of time. Had to contact the salon 4 different times to receive a response. I do not recommend this salon

I’ve been to the Beauty Bar for a leg wax, and for a massage. Both services were excellent, and the staff is very professional and friendly. The spa is clean and inviting. Waxing

Went for a dermaplaning facial and manicure. They don’t have you wash the soap and scrub off your hands, only use a hot towel. Well gel polish and those products don’t go together. Less than 10 hours after I left 1 nail polish completely came off. I was told I could come back the next day, which would be a thursday but I had things to do that day. By the time I got done in Portland, 6 yes SIX, had come off. I asked for a refund and they told me I should avoid gel polish and I could get salon credit but no refund. Guess I’ll get a facial though there were white flakes of product all over my face, neck, and hair when I looked at myself in daylight.
