My daughter won the feed-in service for the Back 2 School Drive. Booking was reasonable along with the communication of items needs for the service. An issue arose the day of the event , but we were taken care of in a timely manner. My daughter & I both were satisfied with the service received. This annual event is a true blessing to the community. Big ups to the sponsors, stylists, as well as the coordinators who put so much time and patience into the event. It’s greatly appreciated

The event was organized and efficiently planned to help the students of our community receive lunch items and free professional hair services in a safe and clean environment. I was one of the braid stylists for the event and the clients who I had the pleasure of serving were pleased with their style and left feeling prepared for their 1st day of school.

The Beauty Bar Expo hosted a great back to school event for the community on 9/4/2022. My daughter won a back to school hairstyle of knotless braids by Ginger and she did exceptional on her hair. The event also provided lunch for the kiddos for the entire week of school and school supplies were available. All of the stylists were very professional, nice and displayed patience with the children. This event was amazing for the community.

Y’all better come up here and schedule that appointment CAUSE BABY! I have scheduled an appointment for my mom all the way from Florida and when I tell you that Beauty Bar Expo delivered, they delivered. Ate and left no crumbs! Thank you for your flexibility and cultural awareness. My mom does not speak English that well and the owner made her feel like a queen and took great care of her. Do not hesitate to book your appointment! I made an appointment for my daughter from Chesapeake here and it was her first salon experience and she loved it! Shy was patient and gentle with my baby girl! I booked myself an appointment for soft locs and she did not disappoint. She knew how I liked my hair to be without telling her how to do so and finished the appointment off with my eyebrows. Now she’s my regular stylist and eyebrow maintenance because no one can do them like her! Again, do not hesitate to book your appointment and get all the care that your hair (and your mental because who would want a stylist they can’t talk to!) needs.

I recently participated in a back-to-school event at The Beauty Bar! This was my second year participating and I must say it was an awesome and well-organized event! September 4 was an amazing day of service at The Beauty Bar Expo. A Back to School event was in full effect! My daughter won a raffle & received a free crochet hairstyle. In addition there were many stylists & barbers on deck giving free braiding hairstyles and haircuts. Upon exiting we were given 2 medium size shopping bags, with supplies to pack lunch , to include bread, lunchmeat, several kinds of chips, Motts fruit snacks, water & Capri Sun. It was an amazing way to serve & bless the community and was a great experience!

if you’re stuck deciding whether or not to get tape in extensions, then I’m here to tell you to go for it and you definitely won’t regret it! had such a great first time experience and I’m not saying that because we’re related! the entire process from start to finish was so perfect (I knew that I was in good hands!) and executed well. I was able to still care for and maintain my natural hair (which is very important to me) while it added a little extra length, body, and volume. tape in extensions are really THAT girl! ✨ .
