I go to Amber for my hair. It took me almost 6 years to find someone I trust with my hair as much as I trust her! She does an AMAZING job and I’m truly thankful for her. I’ve also used Sam for my eyebrows and love the way they turned out as well. The experience at the beauty bar is relaxing and fun. Love going there! Thankful I found it!

Critical: Professionalism, QualityDon’t go to Bri if you have dark hair and want it bleached or colored. I thought she would be good from the facebook but it’s a facade. It’s been months since she ruined my hair and i’m still trying to fix it. She didn’t lift my hair and applied the bleach horribly all over and my hair was nothing like the reference photo that was shown to her. We got a partial refund but i don’t know how someone who can only do light hair is still working at this place. I should have heeded the review of Bri and brunette hair. I had been taking the steps to lighten my hair with blonde highlights. Went to her with reference pictures and a detailed description of what I was looking for. I wear my hair up for work and wanted the highlights all over and to my scalp. She didn’t put highlights on the bottom half of my head, claiming the sun doesn’t hit there. Then she gave me DARK shadow roots. Which I explicitly said I did not want. When I questioned how to get the look I wanted she told me it was only possible with a ring light or a wig. Blond hair is not a photo shop trick… I brought up my concerns 2 days later when I got my eyebrows done and was told they would help fix it when I was back in town. I have gotten nothing but the run around and had to go elsewhere to fix my hair. Interestingly my new stylist achieved what I asked for. I would have given no stars, but Avita who microblades and Valerie who tried to wash out Bri’s mistake give great service and listen to what you are looking for.

The Beauty Bar in Rockport is a “one stop shop” where you can go to have all of your beauty needs met. The owner, Shaunna Rios, is amazing and will take the time to answer any questions you have. In fact, everyone I have come in contact with there will talk you through your questions and help even if they are not your stylist. Shaunna, Samantha, and Brittany have all worked wonders for me, but everyone there has made me feel welcomed and comfortable every time I have walked in. You can’t go wrong at The Beauty Bar for hair, body, or make-up needs!
