Extremely disappointed with this place. My son and I showed up at 6:55 signs are still on All he needed was a quick cut and they basically told me that they couldn’t serve us they had already had the place closed even knowing the signs were on and it was still during open hours. Seems kind of crazy to me you would have The hours posted on the front of the building saying you’re open till 8:00 p.m. and then refuse to service at 6:55.

This is not for anyone who is black to get their hair done. My son just got a haircut here and here I am at another place to get it fixed. I can do a better job than this. Do they only teach a certain hair texture when they teach them at school? I understand if that’s the case but they should say that they don’t know how to cut textured hair or something. Most of my hairdressers that cost WAY TOO MUCH, messed up all of my hair styles. From dye, to cuts, to overall looks. This place got it right the first time. The ladies are super sweet and nice. The only thing I am left with is a nice clean head and satisfaction of my haircut. Overall this place is affordable and super comfortable. If you’re a girl looking for a clean up or to try out a more boyish look, I would recommend this place. During the pandemic I had my sides shaved. I went in and the helped clean it all up! When it grew out it looked even better. The only thing I would say to advice as a customer… HAVE A REFRENCE PHOTO or a clear idea of what you want. You’ll be more satisfied if your prepared plus the hairdressers will try their hardest to make it possible! Here’s some photos of old and more recent cuts by them. Just remember that everyone has differences but if you want to try something… DO IT!

About 5 years ago I started going to the barbers in Sherwood to get my beard tamed. I’m picky about who I let cut on it. I got put in Jessica’s chair and she reassured me she won’t screw it up, and she hasn’t! Since then, I’ve followed her to all the locations she has been moved to. She has moved up to manage a couple shops and is super great and awesome to all her customers. She is a strong leader in the shop to her team every time I visit her. I’ve seen her grow and progress through 4 different locations. She promotes a fun environment and is always professional. I drive about 45 mins to the shop each way to visit her and will continue to do so. Excellent at what she does and glad I found her! Thanks Jess. See ya soon!

Call this barber shop to make an appointment for the next day and was told only same day appointments are the only thing they do and they I should show up 15 minutes before opening. I did that and was in second in line and some how there was already 3 people head of me?? Second person there and have 3 people head of me? That math doesn’t add up. I came to this barbershop sometime before the summer started. My first time here, I did not have the best experience. I asked for a skin bald fade and came to find out that my barber was not too experienced in fades. The more she kept trying to fix it, the more I did not like it as it was uneven on each side. I expressed to the barber that I was unsatisfied and requested for someone to fix my haircut. Jessica, was on her lunch but said she would be able to correct my haircut. I waited for her to get back from her lunch and she did the best that she could do with what I had going on. She managed to actually correct my fade. It was a little bit higher than I would like but she was able to even it out. Since then, I have been going to Jessica for all my cuts. It’s currently December 7th and this is the only barbershop I go to now for cuts. I highly recommend this shop and finding the right barber for your style.
