I have difficult hair to cut. Not sure why, but every barber I have ever gone to swears it is tough. Matt was no different, but he was patient and took his time to make sure that the cut looked right. He provides a reliable quality cut at an affordable price and I have been getting my cut from him for quite some time. I highly recommend the Schuyler Barbershop.

My #1 barbershop. It is easily accessible. Great hours and cost for a great haircut. I’ve rarely waited more than 15 minutes at peak hours. The staff are friendly and highly-skilled. I like to sit and relax with my eyes shut while a barber works, and the people here have no problem with that. It is not the closest barbershop to me, but I will gladly revisit every time.

I don’t normally leave reviews, but I must say that I finally have found a place for my son and I to get our hair cut without the hassles, delays, high prices, poor service, need I say more? To add to that, my son and I travel all the way to Menands (half an hour) from Clifton Park just to get our hair cut there because they are that good!!! Matt and his daughter Mia are very warm, gentle, individuals who are the kind of people that can put a smile on your face while making you feel right at home. My wife approves of our long journey there because she love the results she sees with my son and I. At first, she was very skeptical as to why we would want to make such a long trip. As for me… I love it when Mia cuts my hair. She’s so awesome at paying attention to detail. On the flip side, her father Matt is no slouch either. He doesn’t have a problem letting his daughter know that his chair is the most comfortable one in the shop… 🙂 I love them both and think anyone considering a change would be pleasantly surprised with their overall experience there. Let them know that Mark from Clifton Park sent you…. 🙂

I am happy to say I found my new barber shop. Two days before my wedding I received the worst haircut and beard trim of my life. After stopping the barber at the shop in Troy from doing more damage I hopped in my truck and searched for a different barber shop, when I walked in I was happy to see there wasn’t a huge wait and customers were getting excellent looking hair cuts in a timely fashion. I have to admit I was so concerned with my way shorter than requested, poorly faded haircut and botched beard trim that I did not get the names of the father daughter barber team. But they were more than happy to help, and they were able to save my haircut and more importantly my beard (yes it was that bad). Also on top of that, they told me that grooms get a free haircut! They saved my wedding day, and I will always be grateful for that. Looking forward to my next haircut.

Excellent barber shop, with good parking outside, and friendly barbers who charge affordable prices. I recommend them, and since they are near the Watervliet Arsenal, I am sure plenty of military people get their haircuts here as well. One of the best in the Capital District.

The #1 place…period. I’ve been going to Matt for over 15 years, never once disappointed. Although I’m living in California now, EVERY time I come back home whether it’s for two weeks or two days, I always find time to make it over there because he’s just that good. He’s such a warm hearted person and always makes you feel welcome and comfortable. And every time he asks how my grandmother is doing because she’s the one that started bringing my brother and I to him. It’s not just good service you get there, it’s the best haircut expierence you will have, every time. Thanks for all the great cuts Matt, and look forward to all the ones to come.

Today was my second time here. Once I got home I realized I received the worst haircut I have had in years. I did not realize the only reason my hair looked faded was because of the way it was combed over. The gentleman that works there did a superb job on my first visit, I am sad to say the lady didn’t do near as well.
