Was referred here by friends and love going here. Joe the barber is great, when I make an appointment, never have to wait and get in right away and always happy with our haircuts. Never leave feeling ichy like those chain haircut places. The decor is a very classic barber shop look and feel with all types of nestologic posters, pictures, antiques, etc. Pictures of Elvis, Lucille Ball, the Three Stooges, Frank Sinatra, The Brat Pack. Like traveling back to a simpler time. Look forward to my haircuts.

Outstanding barbershop. My grandfather started coming here after we moved and got me to give him a try. This place has a very relaxing atmosphere with a lot of old-time movie posters and classic music.

Great barbershop and i have switched barber’s to this one. I was in a hurry, found this place accidentally. I walked in got my hair cut, he got it perfectly just the way I like it on the first try. Great location, l love the decor along with a cozy atmosphere. I would definitely recommend this barber to all my family and friends.

Finding a good barber is harder than finding a good dentist. After trying 5 different barbers in town (each one worst than the next) I found a great one at The Barber Chair Barbershop. He always gets it right. The first time or two he asked some questions, now it’s just perfect. It’s also fun to look at all the cool stuff that’s displayed around the shop. Two thumbs up.

Joe runs a really nice shop… great and consistent cuts, friendly, and knows when I don’t really feel like talking and just want to listen to the great music he has playing! Got a great cut on Halloween (and no, it wasn’t scary). Highly recommended.

I’d prefer a 3.5 but not an option. I’m in sales and have literally had my hair cut by dozens of barbers in the Northeast. My cut is very simple, but this is the first barber who didn’t use scissors even for a second. This made me a bit nervous, but my haircut was adequate.

Fantastic! Joe and his shop “The Barber Chair” are a classic example of what a barber shop SHOULD be. It has the nostalgic feeling of the “neighborhood barbershop” with memorabilia posters of music and sporting events as well as the classic white and white tiled floor. Joe himself was very personable, easy to talk, and you can tell that he genuinely loves what he does. Joe is a very thorough barber, taking his time and paying attention to detail. He evens shaves the back of your neck with warm foam and a straight razor (no extra charge) to look neat and allow for more time between haircuts. VERY reasonably priced, I would recommend him to anyone!

My Dad has been going here for years. Now he’s elderly and doesn’t like shaving but the barber (I can’t believe we don’t know his name) will shave down my father’s beard with the clippers. I’m not sure he would do this for someone else but it is a kindness he extends to a loyal customer. We visit after my Dad’s appointments at the VA. So, depending on time between appointments, he could look like Santa Claus or something a little shorter. And I love the decor!! Gives me something to look at while my Dad is in the chair.

Terrible place. For starters, guy has an attitude. Terrible haircut. Went back with my son figuring how hard cut a buzz cut for a kid be… With an attitude he says he doesn’t cut kids hair. Well, every time I drive by the place is empty, maybe thats a clue. Also, try putting up a sign that says “Adults only” if you’re not capable of cutting a 6 year old boy’s hair.
