April and Jodi have been men’s only barbers in Eden Prairie for more that 36 years. Because The Barber Chair is a small 2 chair shop where barber shop banter is common, appointments are necessary. Our front door faces Eden Rd. and there is parking in front of our door. Please call us and leave a message or text us for an appointment. April’s number is 952-232-7400. Jodi’s number is 612-518-1907. We keep track of our own appointment bookings personally and do not have our schedules on line for scheduling.

Best place to get a haircut. I am a big fan of Jodi and April. They are extremely fun to be around while receiving a haircut. I would highly recommend this place to anyone. As a matter of fact, I have received multiple compliments from strangers every time I receive a haircut from here. They even go as far as asking me where I have received the haircut. Great haircut and great personality! Not much else to add that hasn’t already been said. April does a great job. I’ve had three cuts so far. I want a very clean and accurate cut in general, but especially for summer. As a former Marine, I grew accustomed to very precise work. She can do it. Also, I like a good barbershop chat when I’m there. It’s part of the experience. I always get the local updates for Eden Prairie when I visit the shop. Keep up the great work, April.

April is awsome gives great haircuts and is great to talk with and funny. Even if I got a great clips quality haircut (usually a hack job!) I would still go just for the experience! If you want a high quality haircut and a awsome experience come here it’s well worth it!

April is one excellent barber. She doesn’t mess around with trying to sell product, do shampoos, massages or any of that other stuff us guys (at least us older guys) don’t want. She just cuts hair and does it efficiently and skillfully at a good price. It is good to see her have her own place. Give her a try, you won’t be sorry.

An excellent proper men’s hair cut. Walked in with my 2 sons (19 & 21) to get them cleaned up before sending them back East to school. April asked questioned about their requests – an undercut and more classic style. She made sure they where happy with final length, trim and grooming. I wish I had found the Barber Chair when my boys where home full time – a far cry from the local chains and a better understanding of mens grooming than the local salons.
