Christine is the best stylist I have ever been to. She truly is an artist. Everything she touches turns to gold. Not only does she style and give the best balayage treatment, she is also one of the kindest people you will ever meet. She takes her time and makes your appointment feel like an experience. Christine is an absolute gem. I can not say enough good things. She is the best hairdresser I have ever had and she truly made me feel beautiful every time I left her chair. For me this isn’t always easy because I’ve had an insecurity about my hair since I was young but she always made me feel amazing. Not to mention she’s a great person and very easy to talk to for three hours! I drive from Maine to Boston just to see her and get an amazing balayage, cut and blow out! Christine is incredibly talented, and I’ve seen her for everything from hair extensions to a balayage to a quick trim. She is always honest with me and tells me what would look best, which I greatly appreciate. Her salon is immaculate — super clean and incredibly cute! Can’t recommend the Balayage Bar enough!

After bouncing around to several salons and stylists over the course of several years, never quite finding one I was happy with, I decided to book an appointment. Her soonest available was six months out, so I took it which is the best decision I’ve made. Christine took quite a bit of time at the beginning to find out what I have liked and not liked over the years, and then considered my skin tone and eye color to come up with the most beautiful, natural color I could imagine. She was able to even out and tone down years of patchy and alternating bleach blonde and dark brown sections of hair that I had given up on, and made me finally feel like myself again. Christine’s studio is bright and cheery, felt incredibly safe COVID-wise (it was only the two of us), and she was so easy and fun to talk to that three hours flew by. I have another appointment booked in 5 months right before my wedding and cannot wait. I came across Christine’s site years ago after my longtime hairdresser moved, but as I generally waited until the last minute and I knew she had a long waitlist, I never had the time to wait.
