I was given a perfectly nice haircut, it was just completely different from what I specifically asked for. I said “I’m getting married in 3 months and I need it as long as possible for the hairstyle I’m doing. I just need the ends trimmed and a few face-framing layers.” My stylist (JULIE) felt the need to add in massive choppy layers to “add volume.” I can no longer even make a bun. After checking in, she went in further and took out at least another inch. I know my face fell and the atmosphere changed, especially when I saw the back, but what could I say except “I thought I made it clear”? How can you uncut hair? You can’t, I just have to live with it. I held back tears and hoped I’d like it after styling, but it’s not what I asked for and it’s not what I wanted. I saved tips for months to treat myself and I regret it. The service was excellent, she was kind and fast and honestly the color is great, but no. I didn’t get what I asked for. I will not be returning.

The care which Luu takes with my haircuts is appreciated. My hair is fine and short and he makes it look its best. The salon also does colors and cares for clients with impressively long hair. I trust the guidance of Luu and Julie.

Inconsistent prices – no written pricing anywhere and they charge differently each time with no explanation. No receipt. Paid $130 one visit and then $160 the next for LESS service to my hair. You can’t run a business like that.

Two words I associate with Julie: Meticulous. Precision. She cut my hair with an expert hand and an eye to detail. I was very pleased with the results, which is saying a lot because I am so picky (and nervous) when it comes to hair stylists. And the pricing was surprisingly fair.

Got a Brazilian Blowout from here last december 2017. The first thing i noticed after the procedure was that the top portion of my hair felt rough like the strands of my hair were bent a cm from the roots. I followed every single instruction Lu told me. And the first time i washed my hair, it was obvious my hair was damaged so bad it was breaking 1cm from the roots(my hair has not been colored nor straightened in the last 4 yrs). Can you imagine clumps of hair breaking with just a stroke of a comb or brush!!! When i came back to show him what happened to my hair (even brought a bag of my clumps of hair that broke) he told me it could have been me brushing my hair with a paddle brush that is why it was breaking. Felt like he was even blaming me for the damage! Anyways, he gave me a wide tooth comb and a keratin spray to help with the damage but didnt help at all. Its been 8 months and my hair is still breaking. It has grown about 3 inches now from where it broke but you can tell by the ends that its still damaged. I will never go back for any other treatment and also advice other people to think it over before you get hair treatment from here. Regrets regrets!
