The Avenue Beauty Bar was created to make you feel welcomed and relaxed. Our team is dedicated to elevate your salon experience. Listening to your needs through a thorough consultation, you can kick back, relax and let us take care of you! The Avenue is an eco-friendly salon and proud to be partnered with Green Circle Salons. A $1 eco fee is applied to each visit. By joining Green Circle Salons, The Avenue Beauty bar is able to recycle hair, color boxes, color tubes, chemical laden foils, color waste, balayage film, gloves and so much more!

I absolutely loved working with Jaclyn and her team of amazing stylists! They did the hair and makeup for my bridal party and I and the entire experience was perfect. Each of us loved our hair and makeup. They were on time, professional, so easy to work with, and so much fun to hangout with! They truly helped to make my wedding day perfect. Before moving to the North Shore, I was looking for a new hair salon since I had been going to the same stylist in Boston who was a family friend. My mom recommended Vanessa Holding of Avenue Beauty Bar in Gloucester and I could not be more grateful for this suggestion! Going to Vanessa’s salon is such a pleasurable and fun experience; all of the stylists are so chatty, lively, and talented. The salon has a “Cheers”-like, local salon feel to it where everyone knows your name and welcomes you with open arms whether you are a first-timer or long-term client and there are ample opportunities to jump into great conversations! The decor is very homey and elegant and gives off an earthy, yet chic feel which is very inviting. The prices are extremely reasonable (100 dollars less than what I have paid anywhere else!) and the ability to tip with a credit card saves the hassle of tracking down an ATM which is much appreciated.

I have been going to Avenue Beauty Bar to get my hair colored since they opened and they’re awesome! Everyone there is so talented and very nice. Last month for my wedding I hired their traveling staff todo my hair and all my bridesmaid’s hair-do’s. It was so awesome that they could come to us on a Sunday morning and everyone’s hair looked so beautiful.
