I went in to get a “low bald fade”. What I ended up with is the furthest from that. (Im from the Chicagoland area, where haircuts are taken very seriously) I was told over the phone that any barber there would be more than capable of doing that. I was scheduled with Kristen. She started at the middle of the back of my head with a guard on her clippers. She then grabbed another pair with no guard and ran it down the back of my head. In all my years of cutting hair (and receiving haircuts) I’ve never seen that done. My low fade was turned into a high one…… and it wasn’t faded. The lines were jagged and nothing was even. So I called in and asked for Sergio because he had good reviews for fades. She told me he quit so she had Erik fix me. He seemed to do what he could, and at least got things even. But it was still far from what I went in for. I walked out with a high and tight rather than a low fade. Pictures for reference. The low fade I went in for vs what I ended up with. I do appreciate them at least trying to fix it and being somewhat polite.

Posting says closes at 6pm. A sign says walk ins welcome. At 445pm I was told they are not doing any more haircuts after I waited for 45 minutes. I was clearly visibly there waiting they should have said something when I walked in. Ridiculous!
