I just happened to come across this hair salon by chance after googling silk press in my area. It was hard to find a salon to do the services I needed since I relocated. Everything was a smooth process from selecting my services online to making my appointment to actually getting my daughter’s hair and my hair done. I must say Monae is patient, gentle and explains everything to you. My 6 year old who is very tender headed, she was patient with her, she didn’t cry once and most importantly she loves her silk press. Our hair looks like it was perm when she was done and I mean that in a good way. My hair has not look this good in a long long time, trust me. It was way overdue. I am happy that I found a salon that I am comfortable with and my hair care will be in good hands. Monae will definitely see more of us. Thanks again for a great experience.

My first impression of Monae is that she is punctual, professional, clean, knowledgeable in all things hair and she makes take every step necessary to keep herself and her clients safe from COVID. I was looking for someone in the area who was experienced, gentle and knowledgeable about natural hair care. After searching for a long time, I found the Artistic Cove Salon, I was impressed by the reviews as well as her website which reflected professionalism. When I arrived at the Salon, I was not disappointed. We spoke about my hair care regimen and ways that I could improve it. She did a silk press and a trim which came out looking amazing. I’ll be returning in the future.
