My 13 year old daughter had been wanting her first “style” to her hair for months. Her experience at the AB Salon left her with an ear-to-ear smile that lasted for days. Beware of deceptive pricing practices at this salon. I have had my hair done here twice, and been very happy with the result. The first visit, in July, my balayage/cut/style cost about $250 which I found to be reasonable. During my visit this past weekend I was informed after I was already in foils that the stylist’s pricing had changed since the last visit and her rates are now $80/hour. I was not made aware of this before my appointment or the service, and was not told how this would impact the price compared to my previous visit. At the end I was charged $300 for the time of service (4 hours, which is also insane) plus the cost of a cut, and toner. A price increase of >$100 in 10 weeks should be clearly communicated to customers.
