That Hair Salon is a family owned Salon/Barbershop in Dallas Fort Worth, Texas. Previously known as Fashion Hair Design for over 20 years. Owners are a mother and daughter trio. They are a award winning salon with Invisible Bead Extensions in the Creative Color Category. We strive for continuous growth to be able to offer every client that comes through our doors the best of our abilities. We welcome the whole family to come in and get serviced together. We are an open concept salon allowing our stylists to openly communicate and create relationships with each an every client not just the clients sitting in their chair. In our eyes we are all family and we looking forward to growing the family.

I have been going to Rhonda for almost a year, after I decided to go from black hair for a change I couldn’t find anyone to get my hair to look the way I wanted. After trying about 4 different salons my daughter in law found THS on Google and recommended I try them. I can’t express how happy I am that she found them. Rhonda definitely has a wide range of experience with different types of hair and was able to deliver the results I was looking for. I really enjoy the atmosphere there and the time spent is enjoyable due to everyone being beyond friendly and family oriented.

Great hair stylists, poor client skills. Rachel did an amazing job on my hair extensions and color, but when I went it for my next appointment (that I was planning to pay for with another stylist) to adjust my color for my wedding in ONE WEEK, she told me she wouldn’t color it the way I wanted, called me a liar, and was so arrogant/ rude that I found someone else to give my money to. She listened carefully and did exactly what I wanted! I tried looking past the part where Rachel told me anxiety was a made up excuse for lazy people during my appointment (I’m a doctor and on anxiety meds, so…), but honestly I can’t imagine having to listen to her condescending voice again. So glad I found someone else to continue my extensions with! Tabitha, who actually did my hair color, was a treasure. I hope the nice girls there find a better employer someday who doesn’t scare their clients away!

I went to Rachel due to having two referrals from friends. Upon mentioning both referrals, she didn’t remember either based off names and one had gone to Rachel for five years. But I get it, sometimes people remember by faces so no issue there but my whole experience felt impersonal as another worker there talked to Rachel for my entire appointment. The salon is very loud but clean and new, Rachel was nice and listened to what I wanted. If you prefer a quiet and more one on one conversation with your stylist, I would say to try elsewhere.
