I went to see Thandi for the first time September 17, 2021. I must say her work went above and beyond all my expectations. I was in town for the weekend to attend a conference/party. Walking into Thandi’s I never knew I was in for a life changing experience. I booked the Empress Plus and I could not be happier that I did. I received an exceptional eye makeover plus, with uplifting/encouraging advice. I left feeling like family with Thandi and on top of the world. From the many compliments I received my confidence went through the roof. The makeup lasted me my entire weekend. I live 45 mins to an hour away, but I can assure you to trust and believe I will be back time and time again. If you don’t know of Thandi and her work, now is the time to get to know both. If you’re looking for an unprofessional hood experience by all means make your appointment here. I made an appointment for eyebrow shading. I paid my deposit, And received a call from Thandi to come early for my appointment. I arrived and still had to wait for an hour to be serviced. She stopped midwau through my process to meet with her husband to sign contracts for some other business deal. Towards the end of my process she began to rush in preparation for her next client. Mixed with blood and drainage and the heavy layers of makeup applied after the service I was not able to immediately tell that my brows had been tattooed unevenly. I reached out to Thandi 14 days later after my scabs had fallen off and also sent photos of the results to show her my uneven results and Her response was it takes 2 months for healing and to reach out then. I contacted her again at the two month mark and received no reply. After repeated text she replied in true hood fashion with much attitude and said since I did not send her pictures of my scabbing process she could not determine that I had done my due diligence of taking care of my scabs. She then told methe price I paid was a deal for the service provided and to fill in the spaces where she lacked shading that she would do so for an additional $100 after I had already paid her $320. When people ask who did my eyebrows I preface my response by saying I’m only telling you who did them so that you know who not to go to.
