Critical: Professionalism, Quality, ValueI am new to Southlake. I wanted to do Keratin treatment after long time ( because of Covid). I had an appointment last week with Monica. First of all starting from the women who greeted in Lounge everyone was rude. I booked for Keratin , but Monica after hearing that I wanted the longer one instead of Keratin express, started telling me that Brazillian blowout is better and stays longer. I agreed to go with Brazillian. She was extremely rude. Started applying the blowout cream like randomly throwing it on hair spilling some on face. I was hurting a lot. Look at the bruises on forehead (picture doesn’t capture nice. It was way worse). Since I hadn’t done Brazillian before I thought this is how it would be. Also all the reviews online were fine. So I really did not know what to guess. I have seen videos of Brazillian ironing of hair done with very less hair strands each time. That’s how my last Keratin treatment was also done. But Monica did that with only 4 partition for my whole hair( I have very voluminous hair). Basic blow dry where they pull hair with brush using dryer was a joke here. I didn’t even feel like she was blow drying. I would do better than her by myself at home. I am surprised because so many people gave 4 stars. The $500 spent is total waste of money including the $64 tip I gave her. They didn’t even spend 1 hour for my braziilian and haircut, washing altogether. I would have rather thrown the money away. THIS SALON IS A JOKE.Update: Also I had my second wash today. My hair is back to where it was last week, frizzy and hard. Such a waste if hard earned money. I should have gone to another salon.Reply to owner: I seriously don’t have time or patience to come again to the salon. And what is going to happen asessing my hair? First of all starting from the women who greeted in Lounge everyone was rude. Positive: Professionalism, Quality, ValueGo see Luminita!! I had the hair nightmare from hell that lasted a month before she saved me! I previously went to get ‘top of the line’ extensions (Hairdreams brand) from somewhere else and he not only butcher cut my hair, but he damaged so bad it has been breaking off. To make matters worse, the extensions were nasty, he colored my hair red which I NEVER asked for, and the extensions didn’t even match. And he charged $1300 and wouldn’t fully refund. So I googled to find a Great Lengths Extensions brand salon as I know that brand is truly amazing. Well she also did a terrible job as well. Didn’t match the extensions she replaced them with to my hair and encouraged me to pick out colors that didn’t at all blend. And she was also charged $1300!!! Then she charged me $140 the next day to ‘fix it’ because the colors didn’t blend like she promised! My hair stayed red and the extensions still clashed even after her 2nd attempt. I looked like a blonde and brunette zebra with a red wig on top! And it continued breaking off more than ever. I could not live looking like that, especially in my profession, even though I had already spent almost $3000! So I googled yet another place to find Great Lengths and that’s how I met Luminita!! This girl CARES! She cares about you as a person and she cares about her work! She went above and beyond to bring my hair back to life with the right products and treatment plan going forward. She officially got the red out and got the extensions to match beautifully with my hair. No more zebra strips or carrot top! No one else truly seemed to care like she does. And it didn’t cost me an arm and a leg. I finally feel like ME again. No more tears. Her work is amazing and you will love her!Go see Luminita!!
