My daughter and I had been going to Textures for over ten years, up until today. We got there and someone was in my daughter’s noon appointment. We were told, maybe 4 o’clock, now. That the other person paid a premium price and we got bumped. How nice was that? When I returned to pay for my daughter’s hair, I was told that I would get $30 off for what had happened earlier. I said, how much are the braids, they said $300. Two months ago my daughter got the same Knotless braids for $280. Today I paid $270. That sounds pretty messed up to me, the price was fixed, unless they went up. They open early for others. My money is good too. Spent thousands of dollars here over the years.

Ms. Carol at Textures Salon is my go-to stylist for my teen daughter’s hair and my go-to person for roller set styling my natural hair. My daughter struggles with dry scalp and related scalp issues. Ms. Carol advised using As I Am shampoo with tea tree for dry scalp which helped tremendously and we now bring the shampoo/cond. for her salon visits. Her knowledge, very friendly demeanor and technique makes us repeat clients of hers.
