I cannot speak highly enough of this salon. Unpretentious yet undeniably cool with a unique vision that elevates it among its many neighbors. John (owner and stylist) is the definition of perfection when it comes to haircutting (dry and wet), coloring, and everything in between (DevaCurl, straightening, I’ve done it all!) Texture salon has a nice unique atmosphere and is very comfortable. I was so relaxed during my appointment. Natasha did an excellent job on my foilayage and hair cut. I was in recently for my first haircut in far too long. Natasha did an amazing job! She is extremely knowledgeable and really took the time to listen to my concerns and gave me a cut that was not only the style that I wanted, but that was really easy for me to maintain. The salon itself is conveniently located in downtown Salem and very charming. You can tell they put a lot of time and attention into the details. I particularly liked the padded hair wash sink. Overall, a great experience. Highly recommend!

Great haircut! John has been cutting hair for 30 years. i asked what he suggested; he liked it long, Trimmed it, went with the curl; fabulous job! Natasha who works with him is delightful as well. he has hair of my curly haired friend for years. . They did a great job on a woman with straight blonde hair too. no pressure to color. most compliments on a haircut ever! And very nice folks too.
