The atmosphere that Dennis and his team have created at Textured Defined is unmatched. All of the stylists truly care about the health of their clients hair, help them achieve their hair goals, and create beautiful and memorable hair styles. The atmosphere is also why I will always be a loyal client to Textured Defined. Its a place where I can go to simultaneously get my hair done and also get my “cup filled”. Often times, I come in feeling tired from my day, but I leave feeling refreshed and rejuvenated because of the great energy from the stylists and the other wonderful clients. I LOVE IT!

This is the type of salon that I’ve been looking for for 30 years. Friendly, relaxing, trustworthy. I like to sat in chair and let the hairstylist be creative. This business has 3 stylists and they specialize in different areas (Tru, MiMi, & Dennis the owner). What I love about them is they also tell you how to manage your hair & products to use. They are on the pricey side but well worth it due to good products. My hair is growing like never before. They well hydrate your hair. Well, you probably say I get the same result @ my salon—I thought so too but Tru Define is extraordinary thorough. They can tell if I tried to do something different on my own at home–they have a questioning attitude and advise professionally.This team also network closely as a team. Never will you hear any negativity about one another—they team build each other up collectively. I’m a busy woman– they keep their word about appointments & if not on time–they will immediately let you know. I don’t get the “I’m sorry” at all like I use to when my appointment was cancelled numerous of times. “I’m sorry” gets old particularly when you are 1hr away & the stylists doesn’t try to work around your schedule or give a discount. This team is not projected to be about making $ off of you, they project customer satisfaction 100%. I give them a 5 star and highly recommend.

I love Dennis. I started coming here earlier this year and he has been nothing but honest and professional about my hair and his service. He’s focused on the health of your hair, so before he blindly gives you what you want, he’ll educate you on what you need. He told me what i needed to do before getting my color, we followed that plan, and after, he executed my custome color PERFECTLY (the compliments I’ve received on how it fits perfectly with my skin tone are unmatched). We’re now working on keeping it healthy with the color. All of the stylist in the shop are authentically nice and professional. It’s been a challenge finding a true natural hair stylist but my search has come to an end.
