I have gone to TLATA for both laser tattoo removal and Botox, and each time the service is on time, professional and the results are comparable to the med spas that are double the cost. My tattoo removal was less painful and more effective than med spas I’ve been to previously for a fraction of the cost. The environment is clean, welcoming, and everyone I’ve dealt with is competent and friendly.

I was a model for a micro needling class which I was a little nervous about . I was very impressed with my service the student who did my micro needling was very friendly and confident. I go to school here and I am so happy I chose this place. I am 35 years old and love skincare and this industry but I was always hesitant to be an aesthetician because I didn’t want to be forced to push one brand of skincare or fall into a marketing scheme. Some people don’t take this profession seriously but this school is a game changer. If you are considering stop researching and just call admin and sign up if you are on the fence. They base their education in science. The skincare they do use here and train you in is awesome! but they don’t drastically push you to push it to the clients. You learn ingredients and all the advanced classes can be taken here after. It is the best price and you get discounts on the continuing education after as well. I have been a model for the advanced injections class and got my botox for 1/2 off and it was perfect. I have also had IPL from one of the PAs at the med spa and loved that too. I’m so happy I chose this place and am confident about my future career opportunities.

I visited TLAA to get fillers in order to improve the look of my moderately sagging jowels. I received 6 syringes of filler (Restalyn) (> $3000). The result from the treatment was an unusually lumpy look around my eyes and there was no change to my lower face. Beyond that disappointment, I am sad that the administration at TLAA was unwilling to make this situation better. Extreemly dissatisfied. One star. I will not be back.

TLATA gave me the opportunity to get my education and move into a new industry within a month or 2 of starting their program. I switched careers this year. I was in the technology industry, but decided a career change was best for me. I considered quite a few programs before signing up. I chose TLATA because they provide a great education for laser hair removal (LHR) and provide continuing education for all their students. I took on the program for LHR in July 2022 for the online 40 hour theory course, and then completed my body sites for both laser hair technician and senior laser hair technician licenses.

I went in to see Camille for a Micro-needling session about a month ago. Prior to my visit my skin was pretty dry and dull. I’ve struggled with breakouts for years and so have uneven skin texture and scaring as a result and still have minor hormonal breakouts here and there. I recently moved to Austin and was searching for a medspa that could provide all the services i needed in one location and had trustworthy staff. Over the last few months I have been to TLATA for multiple services and highly recommend them. The front desk staff (Christa and Iva Marie) are always so kind and welcoming. I have done injectables with Trish and she was very knowledgeable and made me feel comfortable for my first time getting injections. She explained what different services would do to my face, made suggestions, and let me decide without pressuring me to do this or that. Austin has treated my rosacea with IPL & has done my tattoo removal, always making sure to check on me throughout the services to ask if I needed a break. Lastly, I have seen Lily for brow reshaping and a lash lift/tint. I’m a believer that brows make your face and cannot thank her enough for getting them reshaped after a prior wax fail elsewhere. 10/10 recommend!
