I usually come here to get my braid done but they are very unprofessional, always call to schedule my appointment but I always end up sitting here for an hour when I was told to come in at 8:30am. Don’t get me wrong they are good at what they do but just suck at being organized and on time with their work. By the way I had an 8:30 appointment and now it’s 9:20. No one is saying anything at all.

Today was my second time going to Tess and both times my stylist was Patience (I’m pretty sure that’s what she told me her name was). She is AMAZING!! And fast! Both times my appointment was 8:30am and I was in a chair by 8:35 each time! The atmosphere is great as well! I will definitely continue to be a regular customer! Braids

This shop was very unprofessional and the stylist were rude. They overbooked and only had 4 stylist. When you call they will tell everyone to come in at 8:30am just to sit around and be ignored. There were 5 girls waiting for 1 stylist to show up to work. My mystery stylist was a no show. I saw 2 customers walk out before I did due to the wait. Please ladies save your time and money.

First time at this shop and I am extremely disappointed!. I had an appointment and still had to wait almost an hour to get started. The place is packed in the most uncomfortable way and the staff all bicker back and forth constantly. They want to get all the money walking through the door, even if that means telling a client to get up halfway through so they can start another persons hair, therefore neither person can leave. There were a few good and fast braiders around me but unfortunately I did not get one of them. My braids came out looking nothing like the picture I provided and the parts were a hot mess!. I took my hair out within two days and will never return to this place! I highly do not recommend!

I was referred to Tess’s Hair Braiding Salon by a close friend’s granddaughter. I thank God for the referral. I am very very satisfied with my hair and the establishment. The shop was very clean (no hair or trash on the floor). I soon realized why – after each stylist finishes their client they clean up their area before taking the next client. They had gospel music playing and there were no use of foul language or boisterous conversations with each other or their clients. I plan on becoming a regular client!
