If I could add a negative zero to the 25th power I sincerely would. I called to schedule an appointment I was told to arrive at 8am which I did no one was there and I didn’t get an answer. The lady told me 8am the website says 9am thinking it’s miscommunication I wait and call at 9 and I am sure they have my number they could have said something so call again and 9:15 9:30 no response. The lady calls me at 10:30am and I explain to her what happened she tells me I can come now. When I finish the appointment I am at I call them and let them know I am on my way and Instead of telling me it’s going awhile they tell me sure come on. I get there and I am waiting more than thirty minutes. When this lady finally starts my hair I tell her and show her the style she gives me a price at no time during our conversation did she discuss cash only she starts my hair she gets up and shows me to the mirror after five braids and repeats the price and tells me to pay now I tell her I wasn’t aware it was cash only but it’s not a problem see points me in the direction of the ATM. The ATM is broken I call to tell them and to ask is there another one in the area she says I have the wrong number I explain who I am and that she sent me to get the money but the ATM is broken and I can go to another one. This lady says what do want to reschedule. I just tell her never mind. Someone else calls and I explain again the ATM is broken I can go to another one. But at this point never mind she tells me to come back so she can take the braids out lol no I got it. The five she did put were big and unfinished. Their professional manner and communication skills are the worst.

I went during the week and the lady did me right away. She also shampooed and blow dried my hair which most braiding businesses don’t do. Had the color I wanted and did the style I wanted for an affordable price. Was skeptical at first because of the negative reviews but I had no problems whatsoever. The daughter does have a kid that runs around but honestly it was not an issue as I understand sometimes your kids have to come to work with you. Overall, a good experience!!!

This business is a joke! Scheduled an appointment and was left here sitting for over 1.5 hours!!! Owner NEVER returned. They definitely give Africans a bad name. Obviously have no business sense and/or care for customers time. Couldn’t even respond to a call or text! They overbook and expect customers you sit and wait. The lady who did my hair just worked on it like she would rather be somewhere else. She must be the young girl people are speaking of and has a broken leg at the moment. I’ve been to this salon at least 7 times over the past two years since living in fayetteville, and i must say that each time the professionalism decreases every time i come. i made an appointment yesterday with one of the women and was told very rudely that i didn’t make an appointment. i guess there was a mix up!! well someone told me to go and get some hair and then come back. needless to say, i will never return to their shop! the braids are OK, the price has gone up without many choices for color and the DAUGHTER (who just had a baby a couple of months ago) her attitude is the worst!!!!!

Critical: Professionalism, PunctualityOn April 18 2021, I made an appointment to get my hair done for the next day (April 19) at 11:00 am which is today. I called earlier around 9:30 which was when the salon opens, and there was no answer. I get a call back almost an hour later (around 10) and she moves my appointment back and tells me to get come in at 12. Also when she answered the phone she sounded like she was still sleep on the phone. So I drive up there and wait almost an hour for her to show up, I also saw other clients waiting at the door too but she was still not there. It was almost 12 and she still didn’t show up so I call 3 times and still no answer so I wait a little while longer then I left and cane back home. After maybe 30 minutes I call again and she answers and I asked her if she ever showed up. She said she was at home. Then she got rude and said “what do you want why are you calling” then I told her that I had an appointment at 11 before she moved it to 12, she said that she was at the salon and tried to call but “I didn’t answer” so she went back home but that wasn’t true because I never gotten a call back nor did I see anybody show up before I left. She then said she wasn’t going in to work today and asked me if u still wanted braids . I called earlier around 9:30 which was when the salon opens, and there was no answer.
