On a whim on Saturday night (aka 2 AM Sunday morning) I wanted to experience a blow dry bar – to give my hair some much needed TLC since my hair has been somewhat neglected lately. Not because I am not trying to take care of it – simply because I do not think I do the right techniques to take care of it correctly due to a busy schedule.

The salon is very nice inside and everyone is friendly. However, I went there for a blowout and style and my stylist did not know how to blow dry my hair and didn’t style it how I asked. She left my hair a frizzy mess and my “style” completely fell out before I even left the salon. I was not happy with it at all. I’ve gotten many blow outs and this one was by far the worst. When I called to make an appointment I asked the receptionist for a stylist who can blow dry curly hair well and I was told which stylist would be doing my hair and when I arrived for my appointment, someone else did my hair, so I don’t know what happened there. Annie did my makeup, she was a sweetheart and my makeup looked nice. She even tried to fix my hair. If this is a blow dry bar, the stylists should know how to do a basic blow out.

I had my first ever blow out experience at Ten Friends and was beyond happy to wake up feeling fabulous the next day! I typically have to wash my hair every day, but my blow out lasted several days with no grease! The women in the salon were very educational and took the time to understand what my hair is like, what problems I’m struggling with, etc. and then used products to help with those problems during my blow out. Needless to say, my first experience was very relaxing and I will definitely be back for more! Thank you, Ten Friends!

The experience at Ten Friends is top notch! The staff is very professional and can answer any questions you have followed with great advice! I asked Kora for a voluminous and bouncy look and that’s exactly what I got. I usually wash my hair every other day with the assistance of dry shampoo but after I got my hair done on a Thursday night I did not feel the need to wash it until Sunday morning. All in all great service and a wonderful staff! Thank you so much Ten Friends 🙂

As soon as you enter the space you know your experience will be something special. The decor and atmosphere are very welcoming and refreshing. The shampoo was so relaxing and far better than the regular quick shampoo you might be used to receiving elsewhere. Alex my stylist, talked to me about the look I wanted to achieve and took her time to give me a fabulous style and experience. I felt well cared for and special.

I loved everything about my experience at ten friends, from the moment I walked in the door! The space is amazing, so bright and modern. My stylist was so informative and did an amazing job with my “beachy waves”. The products were great too. I got many compliments on my hair for days (it lasted three days before I had to do a ponytail!). I can’t wait to go back, it was such a special treat!!

I had a wash and blow dry at Ten Friends last week…I wasn’t sure going in how it would work out, but I was genuinely impressed! I never thought about having my hair just washed and styled. It was a quick in and out. My style actually lasted two days and I didn’t have to do anything else beside a quick brush. The technician, Elle, gave me some valuable information about styling that I can use at home. I really liked the products she used on my hair. The one for volume worked really well. I will definitely go there again!

My experience from start to finish was exceptional. The stylist knew exactly how to carefully style my Extensions’s so my experience including my shampoo was very relaxing and fantastic. She used the perfect amount of products. I loved my style and my hair still feels amazing the day after.

My friend and I loved every minute! Ten Friends is exceptionally clean, friendly and so fun, especially with a friend! My stylist chose a shampoo that left my hair amazingly soft! (I was able to purchase the shampoo on my way out.) The beach curls gave me a fabulous new look that I could not have done myself! We look forward to coming back very soon!

Nina recommended I visit the salon and get my hair done here for my best friends wedding. I wanted a slick back pony with a side part and a very contoured and shaped pony. I got that and more. I got a style that lasted perfectly from 8am till 2am with no fly aways and my ponytail stayed intact while feeling nice and bouncy. They work magic here.
