She took the time to learn about my hair and listened to my future plans for my hair and listened to what I wanted in my new color. I don’t venture outside of my usual hair stylist but she was out of town & I was VERY apprehensive about going to someone new. My worries were quickly extinguished by Teleara’s friendly greeting. Her shop was very clean and the atmosphere was very peaceful. We had a great conversation and before I knew it we were done. Telearamaine has been my stylist since Jan 2020, when I decided to end my 15 year loc journey. She came recommended because of her beautiful work. Now, 2 years and 9 months later, she’s still there for me and she’s become the hair professional for my daughter AND son. If my husband had hair, I’d sign him up too! She always takes time to understand what I want and when I don’t know, she no-pressure helps me figure it out. I’ve come to love my natural hair under her care and wish I had been able to embrace it like this years ago. And can we talk about her colorist magic? It’s phenomenal! I absolutely love the color she does for me. She’s encouraged me to play and blend and it’s always just the right color for the season. Good service is rare in our current culture, but Tele is an old soul. The high standards she holds for herself, as a business woman and a full-service, independent Stylist, seems to come so naturally for her. From my perspective, it speaks to who she is…patient, professional, affirming, and always joyful!
