Tease is a small full service salon behind Sorrentino’s deli in SGF. The staff is friendly, knowledgeable, and this gives it a warm almost family like atmosphere. Prices are comparable to local salons, and they have a loyalty card that gives a discount after a certain amount of visits. I’ve had my hair cut and styled, and eyelashes done. I have been happy with those experiences. I get compliments all the time for my eyelashes, which is enough to convince me to return! There are times I’ve had to wait, which can be a bit frustrating because I have made an appointment. Still, I have realized that the attention they give to other customers is what they provide to me. I would recommend it to other people, and I plan on returning whenever I feel like I could use a service that they offer. There’s even an option to schedule online so basically you have the ability to schedule an appointment even if the salon isn’t open.

Would not recommend for extensions. Excessive heat use while installing and replacing. Caused extensive matting due to glue spreading to surrounding hair. As a result of hair follicles damage a half dollar sized bald spot. Called salon and left message for Mindy to call back. I heard no response. Very sad that a reputable business could cause such damage and not return a phone call to make amends. It’s called good business ethics.

Left feeling pretty!…what more can you say. Katie did a great job and she has the best personality. New to the area so got some great advice on places to eat, have a drink etc…from the entire staff!! I will definitely go again.

This place was very nice and clean. The atmosphere was very fun my hair turned out great, only problem I had was it felt rushed especially my waxing because there was a client who showed up late for her appointment and I felt like she was rushing to get to that client. I did have to go home and pluck in between my eyebrows and above then because she never did that part for an eyebrow waxing, which I felt was odd because usually everywhere else I’ve been too if you ask for an eyebrow waxing they do above it and in-between the eyebrows. I also booked a blow dry and flat iron which she wasn’t going to because once again she was rushing to get to her other client that came in late. I had to tell her I booked those services prior to coming to the salon so I had to make sure she finished my hair or I would have walked out without my hair finished. So I’m unsure if I will be back to be honest.

I’ve only been once but it was the first time I’ve had my hair done in years. I went in with an idea of what I wanted and melissa took that idea and did wonderful with it. I didn’t sit around waiting long either which was nice. A little expensive but I have really long thick hair so it took forever. But that being said she didn’t get sick of doing it or rush it, I ended up loving it. I’ll definitely be back.

When a hairdresser tells you she did not sleep at all the night before – turn around and reschedule – the lack of focus is taken out on your hair. Generally I have been quite happy with my cuts until my last visit. I asked for 1/2″ trim. Well 1/2″ off times 6 times = 3″. I asked for an additional 1/2 off the back as I wanted an inverted bob which I usually got and instead more hair was taken off the top “so that it looks shorter in back”. My hair is so “texturized” this time the flimsy ends frizz up like crazy. I am so disappointed with this cut!

I was early for my appointment and waited into my appointment time for her to finish the client before me. When I sat down I was told she didn’t have time to dye all my hair, and offered highlights instead. I went ahead with it thinking it was just replacing that part of the package. Nope. I was then left to sit 30 minutes while she took care of another client after my hair was washed and then when all was said and done I asked about the wax and was again met with “I don’t have time” I was charged for “color retouch” for $50, “toner extra long” my hair was just barely past my shoulders when I arrived, $35, and then charged for the cut and wash. Not what I had booked for and over what I was expecting to pay after tax and tip.
