My hair feels happy and healthy!Here’s the long version for those who like long reviews so they know what they’re getting into:I had first called back in August 2021 to set up a consultation and met with Sarah. She was extremely kind in letting me know my options with my hair in terms of different processes I could do for what I wanted and calculated her prices as well as prices of other stylists in the salon for me. It wasn’t in my budget at the time, so I ended up waiting until January 2022 for my appointment. The receptionist was extremely helpful in making sure I got the right type of appointment booked and with the same stylist I had consulted with even though it had been months. Two days before my appointment, Sarah called me to check in and see what I was hoping to have done to make sure that they were prepared and had all the colors and materials ready. This made me feel super confident in the long process I had coming up!The day of, Sarah was super kind and you could really tell how thoughtful she was about each step she took to get my hair from lavender to copper. She communicated the whole way through and made sure that I knew what was going on and was always referencing the inspo pictures I had brought to make sure that she gave me exactly what I wanted. She also helped figure out a maintenance plan that worked with my lifestyle and set me up with a custom colored conditioner to help keep my color between touchups! My hair turned out even better than I had hoped. It still looks great after being washed, and the shampoo/conditioner that I had bought after my process feel and smell fantastic.Everyone was extremely kind during the whole process and all the stylists seemed supportive of each other and were all willing to bounce ideas off each other to get the best results possible for their clients. I don’t usually write reviews- good or bad. But my experience here was so bad and unprofessional. I arrived a little early for my 9:30 appt however the stylist was running late and by the time she took me in the chair it was 10 (I’m always understanding about the stylist running late- that was totally fine). However, she then proceeded to tell me she wouldn’t have enough time for my hair and I could reschedule for another day. She said I booked the wrong type of appt (even though my appt slot was for 2 hours and that is how long my hair usually takes no matter where I go). Maybe the fact she was running 1/2 hour late contributed to not having enough time! As my first time there, I thought this was SO unprofessional and I did not book on the way out because there’s no way in hell I would ever return here. I booked this appointment 2-3 weeks ago and no one from the salon bothered to double check the appointment or maybe bother to tell me while I sat there for 30minutes waiting. Meanwhile, I arranged for childcare and wasted my morning. Very poor customer service.

I discovered Tease last year googling salons that did hair color well and had a good covid policy in place. I am SO happy I did and I’ve felt comfortable in there each time during the pandemic. I’ve been 3 times now to do different things with my hair color and loved every outcome. They do color so well! And they are honest with how your hair will react with what you want to do with it too. (Many years of box dye here so I needed that) I just did a purple/blue combo and I am in love with it. I also got a little care package that was totally unexpected to help maintain the purple color longer. I’m 1 month in and the purple is still going strong. I am a forever costumer now, they treated me so well and have been recommending Tease every time some one brings up my hair.

I’ve lived in Hudson a couple of years but never had my hair done in town. I decided to make an appointment and pamper myself – there are many salons to choose from and I’m SO GLAD I went to Tease. Their prices are reasonable and they are completely down to earth. It usually takes me a few days to adjust to a new “do” any time I get my hair cut because I am a creature of habit. After my visit with Sam at Tease I was in love with my hair immediately! She did a fabulous job on the color and cut it styled it so that I felt like a million bucks.
