This place was recommended to me by a friend of mine because the stylist who did my hair was out of town. I had made the appt about a month in advance. I was sure to ask my girlfriend if her hair was breaking and how her experience was overall. She had nothing but great things to say so I figured I was in good hands. I arrive for my appt and she begins with bleaching my roots (I am not a licensed cosmetologist but I have been dying my hair and playing with my hair for over 15 years). Why she bleached m roots I will never know! The color she put on wasn’t that far from what was grown out already. I arrived with a 6 month old blonde balayage that had faded into light brown; see pic*. So she proceeds to put some foil pieces in the front. I had complete trust in her so I didn’t question her method, I just let her do her thing. Especially since she did my friends hair and I thought it came out fabulous. I notice that she finishes bleaching my roots, and does some kind of highlighting or whatever you want to call it. She just put bleach on my ends with no method at all. I had been doing balyages for over a year now, I know that it involves hair painting and sectioning of some type. Once that area lightened she washed my hair and put a toner in and starts blowdrying my hair. I didn’t think she was done but her next client showed up in which I realized okay she is done. Never did I see her paint my hair or paint sections of my hair like you would in a balayage. I pay and I had to tell her to take a picture of my hair. *She didn’t take a picture of my hair in her phone, only in my phone. its almost as if she wasn’t proud of her work herself. Once I got in my car I sat there for 30 minutes analyzing what has just happened to my hair. The first thing I notice is this huge chunk of hair broken dead in the front where I part my hair. That alone brought tears to my face. I started going through my hair section by section and I noticed the color was blotchy and there was sections missing highlighting.
