I came to him for a consult, told him my idea for a tattoo, and he came up with a beautiful design. The tattoo will be completed in a few sessions and I’m looking forward to each session. I definitely found my tattoo artist! Larry is an amazing guy! Very professional, kind, and laid back. I came to him for a consult, told him my idea for a tattoo, and he came up with a beautiful design. The tattoo will be completed in a few sessions and I’m looking forward to each session. Critical: Cleanliness, Quality, ValueIf i could give this guy a 0, i would. Went with my friend to get a thigh piece done. I am also a tattoo artist and was recommended by a friend that this guy did good work so we decided to give him a shot. He seemed cool at first and was cool with placing the tattoo and making sure it was what was wanted. Asked to use the restroom before the actual tattooing and the bathroom was super dirty, the rest of the place not much better. He had a steep deposit price, but it was a custom design so no big deal i guess. The tattooing begins and he brags about using a 40 year old tattoo machine and was extremely rude when asked some basic questions about tattooing and laughed at me to my friend over it. The actual tattoo work was blown out and felt wrong, and I am very aware of what tattoo pain normally feels like. He then way overcharged what we originally thought the price was going to be and charged nearly the same amount for a touch up as it was for the whole tattoo.TLDR; dirty, unfriendly, slimy with payment. There are plenty of affordable, talented, and experienced artists that are local that would be a much better option, with cleaner studios.If i could give this guy a 0, i would. If i could give this guy a 0, i would. Went with my friend to get a thigh piece done. I am also a tattoo artist and was recommended by a friend that this guy did good work so we decided to give him a shot.
