I went in as a walk in at last minute at 5:30pm. The lady Ann cut my sew in out fr me & stayed all nite doing my hair so i could attend class the next day. She was very nice. She did a wonderful job. I gt boxed braids & was so happy with the result. I will definitely be a returning customer.

Hair was not braided how I asked. I asked for large bob boxbraids with big parts. Received the complete opposite. Stylist complained that my hair was too short at the top, which it is not. Owner told me over the phone that there was no extra charge for hair but in person told me it’s an extra 20$. They charged me 220$ at first & saw I was very unhappy with the results because braids were different sizes so they charged 160, also didn’t put color braids only in the back like I asked. Argued with me because she could not do my hair as I desired. I will no longer be a customer! They are very rude. Save your money !

HORRIBLE HORRIBLE WORK…. it’s so many other shops where you can get better customer service and a BETTER QUALITY OF WORK. …. I have always had great experiences with African braid shops my first time using this place. I will NEVER return… they won’t fix your hair and will threaten you with the police if you request a refund or a redo. I wish I could have given them no stars.

Honestly my hair looked great when they finished, but 1 1/2 weeks later it looks like I’ve had these crochet braids for months. They look horrible. I got the crochet braids & literally 8 of the 10 braids have come undone. I would expect this a month in, but 1 1/2 weeks, NO WAY! When I went back & told TaTa about the issue she suggested it was my fault. What in the world could I have done in that little time for my hair to look like I was a bait dog in a dog fight?!? This is a mess! An expensive mess, but a mess none the less!!!

I got box braids today, 11/15, from this shop. I have to say that Mame went above and beyond to make sure my hair was on point. Ta Ta started 1/4 of my head and Mame did the rest. I have short hair but they were still able to give me the style I wanted. Excellent customer service and quality for my experience today.

The hair braided did a wonderful job. The time took longer than expected however. The women were also really nice. I will definitely go to this shop again. My hair was also gorgeous.

Went hear to get senegalese twist. First, I had an appointment and the person was over an hour late. Second, it was only one person on my head for the majority of the time. She did well around the edges but the middle is horrible. I was there for a longer time than expected. I expected to be there for at least 4 hours but it turned out to be 6.5 hours. Third, the twist do not last long because they do not grip very tight and the hair is loose. Last, DO NOT let them cut your hair at all. They make it seem as they are cutting loose strands but they completely cut the ends trying to make the hair even and the back ends up very short while the front is long. It is very uneven and hard to style in any type of way because the back is so short. All in all the people their are very nice, the atmosphere is quiet which is a plus for any african shop, but the hair doers are not the best. If you choose to go here be very specific how you want your hair, ask them to do it tighter, do not let them cut your hair,and make sure to check the middle of your hair for proper technique, do not be in a rush because you are tired!

my wife came to get micros as a walk in. the light skinned lady is extremely rude and her attitude isnt compatible with respect. she changed the price when she was almost done then wanted to stop because i said that wasn’t the price she gave me. it went from 150 to 180 to 200 including hair. then she said 40 for hair. i told her that wasn’t what i had been quoted. she started yelling and i was done with her. i spoke with the owner tata and she was better at handling business. she finished her hair and was great at service. she made a worst experience into a better one. tata is a nice woman and thank you for the professionalism. my wife says the Micros braids are cool but they aren’t good with solid pricing and communication.

Never Again. VERY RUDE , Very Disrespectful. Spent $220 for senagalese twist and 1/2 was into my head 7 hours later ( 9.5 hours total on my hair) she says its suppose to be $20 more , there were 2 people on my head and 1/2 of my braids at 2x the other half. I have thin hair so i stated when the first person started i needed thin braids so they are not too heavy on my head when the second person started the braids are heavy, put too much weight on my edges it hasn’t even been a week and already 7 ( SEVEN) BRAIDS have fallen out along with my hair . I have went here 3x before and each time they did a great job but still had rude service now they have done a horrible job and gave horrible service /?? dont waste your time. TOO many shops that can do the same thing to be subjected to horrible service
